Spread across 33,000 sq ft, Manzil has designed the HQ of Oak Street Technologies to resemble a small yet vibrant neighbourhood with multiple points of interest and varied functions across the space. The expansive floor area is divided into multiple zones, each with clear spatial hierarchy and reflecting the roles and requirements of the various teams that make up the organization. Workspaces and meeting rooms of multiple scales and levels of privacy are spread throughout the office to make every zone self sufficient, increasing the accessibility and efficiency of the workplace.

The consistent use of corrugated metal, teal and blue colors, and certain volumes creates a sense of connectivity between the different zones. Taking advantage of the high ceilings, multiple roofing styles including pitched and sawtooth roofs have been used to delineate more private spaces such as offices and meeting rooms. The use of raised floors in certain places introduces a level difference which itself expresses both heirarchies and division without creating boundaries. The primary linear ceiling above the walkways also serves as a connecting element between the zones, as it weaves through the office space. Focused and precise lighting systems provide emphasis where needed, enhancing the variation of experiences a user may feel as they walk through the space.

The design expresses the spatial identity of Oak Street previously established by Manzil Studios, and takes it to a much larger scale, increasing innovation, efficiency and solidifying the brand distinctiveness.
